The Broel Museum is a museum of regional applied and visual arts. In the museum, the visitor is introduced to art from the Kortrijk region of the 16th century to the present. Among others, the museum displays masterpieces by painters such as Roeland Savery, Karel van Mander, Kerstiaen The Keuninck, Louis-Pièrre Verwee and Evarist Carpentier. In addition, it shows works of Kortrijk animal painters of the 19th century such as Louis Robbe, Edward Wouter Maertens and Joos Vincent de Vos. Besides paintings, the museum also has furniture of Kunstwerkstede De Coene, pottery and silverware.
