The Wellington Museum is housed in the former inn Bodenghien from 1705. The museum is dedicated to the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815. This battle put an end to 22 years of war during the Revolution and the Empire. After this battle Europe experienced a period of peace. The museum illustrates the events of the battle in fourteen rooms with models and relics from that time.
