The National Polytechnical Museum is a science museum in Sofia that is housed in a building formerly used as a museum devoted to Georgi Dimitrov. The collection of the museum consists of over 22,000 objects of which 1,000 are on permanent display. Its collection is segmented in various themes, including: transportation, time measurement, computing equipment, communications equipment, photography and cinema, optics, audio equipment and radio and television.
