The Veletržní Palác (Trade Fair Palace) in Prague houses one of the largest collections of modern and contemporary art in the Czech Republic. The building is designed by Josef Fuchs and was the first example of Functionalist architecture in Prague. The National Gallery Prague is a Czech national museum of painting and sculpture, located at various locations in Prague. In this location, modern and contemporary painting and sculpture are exhibited, including Alfons Mucha's Slav Epic (on display since 2012).
