10 acres of rescued walled garden, restored to its 17/18th century shape and style. Mixing formal parterres, mazes and borders with wilder environmentally friendly areas. Visiting the 18th century country baroque in the midst of a 21st century city. An RHS partner garden mainly run by volunteers. Range of buildings includes 17th century manor house (now a private hotel) & Grade 1 listed parish church. Events, workshops, schools visits and family friendly events. Not all buildings are accessible at the same time.
