Valence House is a Medieval and later timber-framed and partially moated building situated in parkland. Valence House Museum features exhibits related to: personalities, fine art, costume and textiles, archives, decorative and applied art, archaeology, land transport, medicine, weapons and war and social history. Key themes, people and exhibits in the museum include: the museum is home to the fanshawe collection of portraits dating from the 16th to the 20th century.
