Local history museum housed in a row of half-timbered thatched cottages dating from the seventeenth century. The museum has been open to the public since 1995. Hinckley and District Museum features exhibits related to Archaeology, Industry and Weapons and War. Key themes, people and exhibits in the museum include: Framework knitter`s cottage tableau with a stocking frame of c.1740.
