The Merseyside Maritime Museum is a museum about the seafaring importance of Liverpool as a gateway to the world. The city’s seafaring heritage is brought to life within the historic Albert Dock. The collections held by the museum include objects associated with the social and commercial history of the port of the city, containing ship models, maritime paintings, posters from the golden age of liners and some full sized vessels.

The second floor of Merseyside Maritime Museum is closed from 6 January until 28 March 2020.
