The National Army Museum is the main museum of the British Army. The museum houses five galleries that cover British military history from the English Civil War up to modern day. The five galleries are called: Soldier, Army, Battle, Society and Insight. It differs from other military museums in the UK in its focus on the overall history of British land forces. It also differs from the Imperial War Museum that has a wider theme an smaller focus period.
