Estonian Firefighting Museum

The Estonian Firefighting Museum is a museum in Tallinn that is devoted to the historical heritage of firefighting in Estonia, housed in the fire station on Raua Street. It is one of the oldest active fire museums in Eastern Europe. The first volunteer fire department in Estonia was created in 1788, by the Brotherhood of the Blackheads, which was one of the first firefighting brigades in contemporary Europe. The Estonian Firefighting Museum holds and exhibits antique firefighting equipment.
