The Tallinn Zoo (Tallinna Loomaaed) is a zoo in the Estonian capital Tallinn. It is the only zoo in all of Estonia. It has the largest collection of wild goats and sheep in the world. The zoo specializes in goats and argalis. A special mountain setting has been set up for this called the Alpinarium. The snow leopards are also housed there. The zoo is also home to many birds of prey, owls and cranes. Furthermore, Tallinn Zoo has two tropical halls with reptiles, fish and tropical birds. In 1989 a new elephant enclosure was built on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the zoo.
