Besides this fortress, the country has many other places on the UNESCO World Heritage List: Old Rauma, the old church of Petäjävesi, the wood and cardboard mill of Verla, the burial ground of Sammallahdenmäki from the Bronze Age, the High Coast / Kvarken Archipelago and the Geodesic Arch of Struve.
