The German Hygiene Museum (Deutsches Hygiene-Museum) is a medical museum in Dresden. It sees itself as a public forum for science, culture and society. On permanent display are the permanent exhibition "Abenteuer Mensch" and the "Kinder-Museum Unsere fünf Sinne". The permanent exhibition puts the human race, the body and health in the social and cultural contexts. The children's museum illustrates the human senses and how they work. The German Hygiene Museum holds a collection that illustrates and promotes bodily awareness and healthy day-to-day behaviour with an emphasis on objects from the beginning of the 20th century.
