The Bundeswehr Military History Museum (Militärhistorisches Museum der Bundeswehr Dresden, MHMBw) is the military museum of the Bundeswehr (the German Armed Forces). The museum is housed in a former military arsenal and is one of the major military history museums in Germany. The Military History Museum focuses mainly on the human aspects of war, as well as the evolution of German military technology. The museum aims to illustrate the causes and consequences of war and violence instead of glorifying wars.
