Zoo Duisburg is the zoo of the German city of Duisburg that was founded in 1934. The zoo is home to around 2150 animals representing around 280 species. Zoo Duisburg is especially known for its koalas and dolphins. The zoo is divided by the Bundesautobahn 3 into an eastern and a western part that are interconnected by a pedestrian bridge over the highway. The dolphinarium is one of the largest in Europe.
