The Museo del Novecento is a musuem in Milan that focuses on artworks by 20th century Italian and foreign artists. Its collection includes about 400 works, mostly paintings, photographs and sculptures that were made from 1902 till the 1970s. Major highlights include works by Braque, Picasso, Matisse and Boccioni. The three-storey museum is organised in sections according to chronological order and artistic movements. When visiting, take notice of the palace in which the museum is located, too. It was designed through a collaboration of several architects. Especially interesting is its huge spiral staircase.
