The Folklore Museum in Bruges displays a collection of old objects in various decors. The restored 17th-century single-room dwellings include a classroom, a pharmacy, a millinery, a grocer and a confectionery. The museum also displays a large collection of pipes, old costumes and examples of popular devotion. There is an authentic tavern ‘De Zwarte Kat’ (The Black Cat). With some luck you will meet Aristide, the living black cat and mascot of the museum.
