The Vabamu Museum of Occupations and Freedom is a museum in the Estonian capital Tallinn. The museum is dedicated to the period from 1940 to 1991 when the country was occupied by Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. The museum holds and exhibits a collection that illustrates Estonian occupation history showing the country occupied by the Soviet Union, then Nazi Germany, and then again by the Soviet Union. The exhibits in the museum deal with the fates of the people who were persecuted or that fought back. The basement of the museum features busts and statues of political figures.
