The Nederlands Volksbuurtmuseum is a museum dedicated to ‘volksbuurten’, Dutch neighbourhoods for the working class. Visitors experience what it was like to live in poverty in such a neighbourhood around 1920. The museum focusses on the history of District C in Utrecht. The original interiors and local drugstore Dijkman and bakery shop de Korenschoof are displayed in the museum.
