Stadsmuseum Leidschendam-Voorburg is housed in a former notary house from 1805. The museum illustrates the history of Leidschendam-Voorburg. Important in the museum is the Forum Hadriani, a former Roman settlement that was situated in the area where Voorburg is now currently situated. The museum also focusses on Princess Marianne of the Netherlands, who lived in the region. In addition to displaying objects related to the local history, the museum also exhibits art works by artists from Leidschendam-Voorburg.
