Established in Victorian era by the Falconer family to offer the town of Forres a museum and library facility. The exhibitions focus on the local community and surrounding inhabitants. Falconer Museum features exhibits related to: archaeology, medicine, industry, land transport, world cultures, costume and textiles, social history, maritime, agriculture, science and technology, photography, coins and medals, law and order, archives, natural sciences and fine art.
