The Markiezenhof is a late gothic, medieval city palace. The palace houses three museums: the Stad- & regiomuseum, the Spotprentenmuseum en the Kermismuseum. The palace consists of several rooms, corridors, towers, courtyards and gardens that illustrate the history of the city. The kermismuseum displays miniatures and parts of old fairground attractions. The Spotprentenmuseum displays works by Dutch and Belgian cartoonists and political cartoonists.
