The Etty Hillesum Centrum has a permanent exhibition hall and a hall where temporary themed exhibitions are organized. The two permanent exhibitions are themed Etty Hillesum and Jewish life in Deventer. Etty Hillesum was known for the publication of her diary after she was murdered in Auschwitz. Objects, photographs and text illustrate the life of Etty Hillesum in chronological order. The second permanent exhibition covers the Jewish history in Deventer by displaying various objects, photographs and stories.
