World War II is one of the most popular themes in historical films and series. The impact of these war films is huge. We know historical battles and resistance heroes from films in which they play a leading role. But how have these films changed over the years?

The exhibition takes you through the history of films. There are props and costumes of famous blockbusters and lesser-known productions. From classics such as Saving Private Ryan and Black Book to more recent productions such as Inglourious Basterds, Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter and Dresden. With masterpieces such as a costume worn by Tom Hanks and a script used by Sean Connery. Experience a thrilling journey between fact and fiction!
