The Nationaal Brandweermuseum is housed in two former marine buildings from 1786. The museum exhibits a collection of firefighting equipment that was used in the Netherlands. The collection includes primitive tools from the 16th century to modern tools of the present. It includes old fire engines, sprayers, pumps with ornamental ironwork and leather buckets. The vehicles illustrate the development between the 17th and 21st century.
