The Comenius Museum is housed in a former monastery. The museum is dedicated to the life and work of the famous Czech scholar Jan Amos Comenius (1592-1670). With its permanent collection "Vivat Comenius" the museum gives an overview of his life. The museum also provides access to the adjacent mausoleum where Comenius is buried.
