The Chabot Museum is housed in a monumental white villa from 1938. The museum is dedicated to the Dutch expressionist painter and sculptor Hendrik Chabot (1894-1949). The collection consists of paintings, drawings, sculptures and prints. Stylistically, his work compares to work of Dutch expressionists Kruyder and Charley Toorop. The museum exhibits a collection of this work.
