The Jopie Huisman Museum is housed in a modern building designed specifically for the collection that is exhibited inside of it. The museum is dedicated to the work and life of the self-taught Dutch painter and draftsman Jopie Huisman (1922-2000). His work is a homage to the simple Frisian peasant life, culture and landscape and are mostly made in a realistic style.

Leuk museum. Vooral de combinatie levensverhaal en schilderijen is boeiend. Het vroegere Friese platteland komt zo tot leven.
