Since 1963 the Pottery Museum Raeren is accommodated in the historic Raeren Castle dating from the 14th century. With its permanent exposition the museum offers a complete overview on the history of Raeren stoneware. Up to today the Pottery museum Raeren is the only museum in the world with such an exposition which is topped off by a steadily growing collection of contemporary ceramic art.
