Exhibition '2022 Brush Awards' in Literatuurmuseum
In honour of Children’s Book Week, the museum is featuring the work of the winners of the Zilveren Penselen and Gouden Penseel awards.
Illustrations bring stories to life. Every year on the eve of Children’s Book Week, awards are presented for the best illustrated children's books in various categories: the Silver Brushes and the Golden Brush. Although the styles and subjects of Brush award-winning books vary widely, they have one thing in common: the illustrations are incredible.
The winners of the 2022 Silver Brushes and the Golden Brush awards can be seen in the museum now with works by Brian Elstak, Hedy Tjin, Raoul Deleo, Octavie Wolters, Hanneke Siemensma, Marieke ten Berge, Monika Vaicenavičienė and Rébecca Dautremer, amongst others.
