Celebrate Freedom
In August 1945, Indonesia was liberated from Japanese occupation, marking the liberation of the entire Dutch Kingdom. After the war, people from Indonesia were housed at Paleis Het Loo. On August 9, together with a new generation, we reflect on the importance of remembrance and the celebration of freedom.
