Exhibition 'Andreas Schotel as our Guest' in Museum 't Oude Slot
Museum 't Oude Slot showcases an extensive selection of grafic works by Andreas Schotel (1896-1984) , complemented by matching objects from the museum collection.
The Rotterdam graphic artist Andreas Schotel developed a close bond with the area 'De Utrecht' and the village of Esbeek (Noord-Brabant province). Since 1919 he stayed here for several months each year and has had his own holiday home, 'De Schuttel', there since 1924. The farming and rural life inspired him to create an extensive Brabantian oeuvre.
