Exhibition 'Coffee's Station Project' in Museum of the Great Plains
For almost 40 years, the replica trading post at the museum, commonly known as “The Fort,” has been one of the primary attractions. In May 2022, work began to rebuild the post completely. The finish date is expected to come in late 2023. In the meantime, visitors to the Bell Gallery can explore the history of the trading post, from its early 19th century inspiration to the modern living history exhibit.
