Exhibition 'Colourful Dimensions' in Musiom
An oasis of color. That is how we can describe this exhibition. The abstract paintings and the glass objects together form a play of light and space.
Participating in this exhibition are:
Bob Tomanovic
Bob is an internationally renowned and award-winning artist. Meditation is the starting point for his paintings. He uses water-dilutable oil paint as his material, with which he builds up his paintings using the so-called wet-on-wet technique. As a result, colors flow into one another, creating soft transitions. It will come as no surprise that William Turner is a major source of inspiration.
Josée Bastiaenen
Clear or colored crystal: like a sculptor, Josée extracts her sculptures from this fascinating material. It is glass that possesses a special radiance and, in interaction with light and space, develops its own visual language: the language of kaleidoscopically shifting planes and lines. Josée attempts to capture this visual language in a process of sawing, chiseling, grinding, sanding, and polishing.
