Exhibition '‘De Eettafel' (The Dining Table)' in Museum Kinderdorp Neerbosch
This artwork explores the theme of family, represented by the symbol of the dining table – the place where family members come together. Lotus Parel van Zoggel challenges the fixed image of the traditional family and shows how family dynamics are constantly changing. In our society, there is often an ideal image of what a “happy family” should be. But why do we try to place something so diverse in a fixed pattern?
The exhibition focuses on the dining table as a mirror of family dynamics.
The table tells stories, even when no one is sitting at it.
