Exhibition 'Huge nativity scene' in Saint Joseph Church
In December, there is a nativity scene in St. Joseph's Church, which is known as the largest in the region. In the 1930s, a new nativity scene was donated to Father Homulle by the Archconfraternity of the Holy Family in Leiden. The wax figures were made in the 19th century by nuns and were restored in 2014. The scene is 6 meters high, 10 meters long, and 7 meters wide. Every year hundreds of visitors come to view the nativity scene.
