Exhibition 'IMPAKT Festival 2026: Techno-Ancestrality' in IMPAKT Centre for Mediaculture
With Techno-Ancestrality, the IMPAKT Festival 2026 explores how ancestral knowledge opens new perspectives on technology. Over five days, the festival presents an international programme of talks, panels, performances, film screenings and an exhibition.
Artists, filmmakers and researchers engage with knowledge from craft, ritual and ecology as living sources of inspiration for rethinking technology. Featuring, among others, Payal Arora, Tabita Rezaire and Voluspa Jarpa, as well as panel discussions such as Devices of Divination and Fugitive Frequencies. The Artist Talks and Screenings programme includes Kevin Osepa, Kongo Astronauts, Mounir Fatmi, Sissel M. Bergh and รtienne de France.
