Exhibition 'Jimmy Doolittle /Doolittle Raid' in The Rowland Freedom Center

In April of 1942, Jimmy Doolittle led 16 B-25 bombers from the deck of the U.S.S. Hornet to bomb Tokyo in retaliation for the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor. In our display, we have many items used in the raid, plus an artifact from plane #3, "Whiskey Pete". Sit in a makeshift cockpit and watch a movie detailing the raid.
