Exhibition 'Kent Wildlife Trust Photography Exhibition' in Smallhythe Place

This free exhibition is a celebration of Kent’s wildlife. Photographers far and wide have captured the best the county has to offer, from fauna and flora, to landscapes, coastlines and people. Now the 12 winning images from the 2017 Kent Wildlife Trust Photography Competition are being showcased at Smallhythe Place.

     Tenterden
    Smallhythe Place is a historical gem located in Small Hythe, near Tenterden in Kent. This half-timbered house, built in the late 15th or early 16th century, has been under the care of the National Trust since 1947. The house's design is believed to be from the early 16th century, possibly constructed after a fire in the village of Small Hythe in 1514. Originally known as 'Port House', it was associated with the nearby thriving shipyard before the River Rother and the sea receded.
