Exhibition 'Memories' in Waterlandsmuseum de Speeltoren
"Memories" of artist Ireen Bessems
Ireen Bessems shows two complete different series of artworks, to the eye. Along the walls several fragile abstract structures of flax and wax. And in the middle of the Art Room three huge structures of objects she wrapped around with treads of wool.
Both series have in common the special meaning and symbols of friends and relatives to Ireen, which she doesn't want te reveal to the viewers. She challenges you to look and see.
