Exhibition 'Nicolas Party' in Voorlinden
With soft pastels, Nicolas Party creates a velvety universe that feels at once seductive and otherworldly. At Voorlinden, he transforms the museum galleries into an immersive world of futuristic landscapes, mysterious portraits, enigmatic still lifes and monumental murals. Drawing on his love for the Dutch Masters, the Swiss artist also displays masterpieces from the Mauritshuis and places his own work in the spaces left vacant there. In this way, Party connects the two museums and takes you on a journey through art history. His solo exhibition at Voorlinden is on display from 25 September 2027 to 12 March 2028, whilst his work will be on display at the Mauritshuis from 16 September 2027 to 12 March 2028.
