Exhibition 'Pomfret's Printery' in Pontefract Museum
Holmes Printers were in business for over 100 years. This exhibition celebrates their trade and looks to the future use of the print works on Gillygate with support from the Townscape Heritage Initiative.
The exhibition features a selection of the posters printed by Holme's,giving an insight into life in the local area. From fetes and fayres to house sales and pub tariffs, some are funny, tragic and insightful.
