Exhibition 'Sand sculpture stories' in Zandverhalen

An Exhibition Unique in the World

Sand Stories is housed in the old, historic tin factory in Elburg, transformed into a museum of sand sculptures and artworks at the highest level. The 5,000 square meters of halls have been designed as a fully circular museum, built entirely from recycled materials.

Magnificent objects such as old fishing boats, towering sluice gates, original doors from the Middle East, and wrought-iron fences connect the 300 Bible stories in sand.

Mighty pharaohs and lifelike elephants impress in striking fashion. Watch how sculpted Biblical characters seem to speak out loud. The connection between art, culture, and Bible stories creates a unique experience for both young and old.
