Warm summer evenings, live music among the trees, delicious food and a relaxed festival atmosphere. During Summer Evenings, the Dutch Open Air Museum comes alive with music, entertainment and activities for all ages. Stroll through the museum park, discover something new around every corner and enjoy summer in a unique historical setting.

Every evening offers something different. Wander through the beautifully decorated museum park, enjoy live performances, join a creative activity or simply relax with a drink while soaking up the atmosphere. Whether you come with family, friends or on your own, there's always something to see, do and discover.
Food & drink
A summer evening wouldn't be complete without great food and drinks. Throughout the museum park you'll find a variety of food trucks serving everything from sweet treats to hearty meals, alongside refreshing mocktails, cocktails and local beers from the museum's own brewery. Take a seat on one of the terraces, enjoy the live music and savour the flavours of summer.

Summer Evenings take place from 1 to 16 August 2026, daily from 4.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. Not all historic buildings and museum locations are open during the evening programme. Tickets cost €11 for adults and children aged 4 and over. Children aged 3 and under enter free of charge.
