    The Burden Iron Works Museum is located on the site of the former Burden Iron Works, an iron works and industrial complex on the Hudson River and Wynantskill Creek in Troy, New York. This historic site once housed the Burden Water Wheel, the most powerful vertical water wheel in history, and was a hub of industrial activity in the 19th century.
