Exhibition 'Walking With The Crow - an exhibition by Shona M Macdonald' in Worthing Museum and Art Gallery
Shona Macdonald invites viewers into a mythical dark-forest journey, populated by ghost trees, animal guides, and imps of the mind, in this exhibition of recent works. Working across a range of media, she revisits her subjects through both real and imagined processes, creating a dreamlike world in which a recurring protagonist encounters symbolic animal presences that shape experiences of trauma, recovery, and growth. Although surreal, unsettling, and poignant, the exhibition acknowledges darkness without remaining within it, holding open the possibility of transformation, resilience, and light.
