Exhibition 'What Never Dies' in Saint Joseph Church

The international exhibition "What Never Dies" is coming to Leiden. 80 years after the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. Takashi Nagai is still a "mystic of peace for our time," as well as a physician, scientist and pioneer of radiology. In 2024, the Japanese Association of Atomic Bomb Survivors received the latest Nobel Peace Prize. Among them, Nagai is an exceptional witness to reconciliation. In 2021, the procedure to beatify him began, along with his wife Midori. An exhibition about his life has been traveling through Europe for years and, starting in September, in Leiden.
On September 13, Maria and Martin Groos will come from Eichstätt for the opening with a lecture given in English, simultaneously translated into Dutch and with musical accompaniment.
