In this day and time crafts are slowly disappearing, therefore the design duo Glithero decided to give craftsmen the chance to share and preserve their knowledge, stories and skills by showing it to the public. They have created an interesting exhibition and movie, in commission of the Zuiderzee Museum, about two craftsmen whose crafts are similar to another: the organ man and the weaver.
In the movie accompanying the exhibition the two craftsmen can be seen working and creating beautiful woven music. In the exhibition ‘Geweven Muziek’ the result of these craftsmen working together can be seen, the beautiful tablecloths and scarfs with organ music, which have been developed in the Textiellab in TextielMuseum Tilburg.
