    The Forty Mile Point Lighthouse is a historic beacon situated on the western shore of Lake Huron, within the boundaries of Rogers Township in Presque Isle County, Michigan. Unlike many lighthouses in the Great Lakes region, it does not mark a significant port or river mouth. Instead, it was constructed with the intention of ensuring that sailors navigating from Mackinaw Point to the Saint Clair River would never be out of sight of a lighthouse.
