The Allied Museum is a museum in Berlin that documents the involvement of Western powers, the Allies (the United States, Britain and France) in Germany and Berlin between 1945 and 1994. The museum mainly shows the political and military history of the Cold War, illustrating the lives of the soldiers and their families. The collection is divided into nine areas: militaria, documents, picture archive, audio/film archive, large-scale objects, everyday culture, prints and drawings, signs, and private papers. The Allied Museum is located in the heart of the former American Sector.
